Tasting Note Reserva 2001.
Morello cherry red with a good depth. Elegant nose, intense primary
aromas of soft fruits well offset by spicy notes of weathered wood
characteristic of a rigorous aging in American oak which nonetheless
do not overshadow the fruit character. Powerful mouth, fleshy, very
luscious, rich and silky, with lovely tannin structure and acidity.
Intense in retro-olfaction, with fruity aromas, balsamic, liquorice,
coffee etc. The pleasant flavours of the aftertaste are particularly
noted on the finish as sensations are still intense and invite immediate
drinking.
